In conjunction with Kampung Bengkurong Mosque's 40th Anniversary Celebration, 17th June night, the mosque committee members held a ceremony to commence the 40-Times Khatam Al-Qur'an Reading Ceremony.

Since 26th of February 1988, Kampung Bengkurong Mosque plays a role in strengthening brotherhood, disseminating religious knowledge and becoming a centre for spiritual and social development for the local residents. Various programmes will be organised in conjunction with the celebration, including a Hijrah Walkathon from Mosque to Mosque and a Mosque cleaning Campaign.
